  • fully marked, base numbered 1619, rim of tureen and bolt on cover numbered 2, liner scratched "liner to 1405", handle on cover marked for William Ker Reid

oval, raised on scrolling foliate feet headed by shells, handles cast with lion heads above applied cartouches with a lion mask, openwork shell and scroll rim, domed cover chased to match, the front engraved with two crests, matching handle by another maker, fitted with a plated liner
