both raised on two fluted bun feet, within a stepped frame the center enameled translucent pink over a wavy engine-turned ground, applied with foliate swags suspended from flowerheads, the reverse with hinged scroll strut and mammoth ivory back, contained in original fitted wood box, struck with workmaster's initials, K. Fabergé in Cyrillic with Imperial warrant, 56 standard

overall good condition; an original Fabergé box, which has been repaired: the sides of the lid replaced and reglued; one menu holder slightly taller, perhaps to serve for a distinguished guest or head of table
