Condition

Original canvas. There is a tear with associated paint loss in the canvas in the top right corner, above the signature. The paint surface is covered in a layer of dirt with noticeable marks in the lower right corner and on the sitter's right shoulder. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any signs of retouching. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
