the oklad chased and repoussé with floral and geometric ornament, the halo pierced, the robes sewn with seed and artificial pearls and set with pastes, the oklad struck with initials MM of an unrecorded master, Moscow, 1894, 84 standard
Condition
the pearl robes with some areas of loss and loose threads, one paste in the Virgin's star lacking, some small cracking and bending to edges of oklad consistent with age
