Catalogue Note
The London stockbooks list a salmon-colored cigarette case with white border numbered 20714 being sold to Major His Highness Maharajadhiraj Raj-Rajeshwar Narendra Shiromani Maharaja Sir Ganga Singh Bahadur, Maharaja of Bikaner (1880-1943) on July 1, 1911. It is undoubtedly the same case as the offered lot. We are grateful to Svetlana Chestnykh for assistance in cataloging this lot.
