Catalogue Note
The arms are those of Fitzroy impaling Wrottesley for Augustus Henry, 3rd Duke of Grafton K.G. and his second wife Elizabeth, daughter of the Rev. Sir Richard Wrottesley, Bart., whom he married in 1769. He was born 1735, 1st Lord of the Treasury in 1765 and 1766 and Lord of the Privy Seal in 1771. He died in 1811 and she in 1822.
