Condition

Overall the condition of the wood is good with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is wear and some craquelure to the paint, particularly to the silvered armor and bases. The shields, halberds and bases are carved separately. There is a chip to the underside of one of the shields. There is a restored fissure to the proper left ankle of the figure looking to his right.
