Catalogue Note

This large and impressive group of contact sheets and photographs documents The Rolling Stones’ 1995 Voodoo Lounge Tour.   This tour, which traveled North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, was the band’s most successful outing to-date, despite being made without bassist Bill Wyman.  Photographer Anton Corbijn’s extensive coverage of the band captures the energy of their live performances.  His backstage shot of the band was used as the cover for Stripped, The Stones’ album of recordings from the tour, and his on-stage images were illustrated throughout the sleeve interior.
