Condition

With wide margins and strong colors, the print is in generally good condition apart from two adhesive stains showing through from the verso to the recto, soft handling creases concentrated in the lower margin, printer's creases and creases inherent to the hand-coloring, especially apparent in the center of the image. (Stray ink in the left margin and pale light-stain). The verso, with a two by one-half inch strip affixed to the left side of the sheet, invisible from the recto. The Japan paper mount with a three by one-half inch area of paper loss in the top left corner and several tears in the sheet edges, the largest measuring two inches in the top left corner. In addition, pale light-stain in the sheet and time-stain at the extreme bottom, left and top sheet edges.
