Two engravings, 1581, fine impressions of these rare subjects, both first state (of two), both on paper with a Coat of Arms with Letter B watermark (Briquet 8068, dated 1563)

B. 178: plate: 269 by 184mm 10 5/8 by 7¼in
B. 178: sheet: 272 by 187mm 10¾ by 7 3/8 in
B. 179: sheet: 265 by 181mm 10½ by 7 1/8 in
B. 178 with thread margins, in good condition apart from a central horizontal fold (slightly broken through at extreme edges with associated repairs), a few pale stains at upper left, lower right corner repaired, a short horizontal repaired tear at upper right edge, thin area on the letter 'C' in the last line of the tablet, a few vertical folds at lower part of sheet (only visible verso), unframed.
B. 179 trimmed just within the platemark, in good condition apart from three central horizontal folds (mainly visible verso).
