Catalogue Note
This impression was given to the sitter Sue Tilley (known to her friends as Big Sue) by the artist after completion of the etching. She was introduced to Freud by another of his models Leigh Bowery in the early 90s, and between 1993-96 was the subject of two etchings and numerous paintings.
