Provenance

Ex coll. Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (Lugt 1570a) (stamped verso with annotations in pencil by the artist's brother, Walter Kirchner); Galerie Roman Norbert Ketterer, Campione d'Italia; where acquired by the family of the present owner in the 1960s

Condition

With narrow margins, two minor hairline flattened splits, one at her left hip and the other below her upper right shoulder, some residual oil staining (possibly from thick black ink) along the contours of the block (inherent to the printing), some other speckles of staining, discoloration to the sheet, some scuffs on the printed areas, with air bubbles associated with the mounting process (mostly visible in a raking light), framed.
