The portfolio, comprising 63 lithographs, 34 printed in colours, hors-texte and en-texte, 1950, a printer's proof aside from the edition of 300, loose (as issued), on Arches wove paper, with title and text by the artist, lacking the justification, contained in the original paper wrappers with lithographs printed on the front and back, lacking the original boards and slipcase
Condition
The full sheets, in good condition with fresh colours, occasional pale offsetting, the text page 14 with an area of pale fox marks. This set includes a duplicate of the guard page and is contained within a green cloth-covered portfolio box with a paper label for 'Herbier' by Bernard Buffet.
