Provenance
Gifted from the German journalist and writer Kurt Tucholsky to his wife Mary Tucholsky as a wedding present in 1924. Then gifted from the above to the present owner.
Condition
With wide margins, minor light- and mount-staining, a short tear (2cm) on the bottom sheet edge and another (1cm) on the right sheet edge (neither affecting the image), minor surface dirt, handling marks and creases (mostly in the margins), occasional stray fox marks (one in the image), remains of a gallery label at the lower left corner of sheet verso, framed. (A partial indecipherable inscription in ball-point pen at the lower sheet edge recto).
