Condition
This early, pleasingly warm-toned print delivers an extraordinary level of detail throughout and broad range of tonality. It is on substantial double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface and is in essentially excellent condition. Silvering is faintly visible at the image periphery in raking light. Also visible upon very close examination in high raking light are a few tiny deposits of original retouching overall.
The margin corners are bumped, and there are tack-holes in the upper left and lower right margin corners. The reverse of the print is signed and dated in pencil, and titled and dated in ink. Also on the reverse are a few small brown deposits of indeterminate nature.
When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
