whole-plate daguerreotype, signed, titled, and dated in ink on the reverse, in a custom-made hinged wood case, 2000

This daguerreotype, executed by Jerry Spagnoli, is in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination, there are 2 very small scratches on the glass in the upper right quadrant. On the reverse of the plate, there is a small white sticker with the following notations: 'CC.DG.047' in pencil and 'PH100 31 08' in ink.' The hinged wooden case was custom-designed by Close. There are a few scratches and a small loss of veneer on the front of the case.
