Condition

This early print is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, scattered tiny impressions, which do not appear to break the emulsion, and a small scuff in the upper portion of the image are visible. The print is mounted to slick white board, which is slightly soiled. The present photograph comes from the collection of Frederick A. Quandt, Adams's assistant during the photographer's time in San Francisco.
