This photograph, on ferrotyped double-weight paper, is in generally excellent condition. Its fine condition is remarkable in comparison to other Weegee prints, which generally exhibit a higher degree of wear and creases from heavy handling. As is typical of the ferrotyping process, superficial scuffing, pitting, and a slight unevenness of the generally glossy surface are visible. Upon close examination in high raking light, a few linear impressions that do not appear to break the emulsion and several small soft and sharp creases are visible. The print has thin margins, which are creased and worn at the corners. On the reverse of the print are the following stamps: 'WEEGEE, 451 West 47th Street, New York City, U.S.A., Tel: 265-1955' and 'Credit Photo By WEEGEE The Famous.' When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce. On the reverse of the frame is an Andrew Roth, Inc., label.
