gravé d'un cimier anglais et de la devise Craignez Honte, comprenant: une aiguière et bassin (ewer and basin), 1 grand bassin (basin) 1 paire de flambeaux de toilette (toilet candlesticks), 2 boites ovales en verre et argent (oval cut-glass and silver box), 1 blaireau dans son étui en argent (shaving brush in silver case), 11 flacons en verre et argent (cut-glass and silver flagons), 1 miroir (miror), 1 cafetière couverte en argent sur son réchaud et sa lampe (a coffee pot on warming stand and lamp), un encrier (ink pot) et une boite à plumes (pen feather box), dans un coffre en cuir doublé de velours vert, serrure, écoincons et poignées en cuivre doré, la serrure signée MG PARIS, le miroir Hollande, XIXe siècle

Condition

one glass flagon missing (silver cover present) -Important chips and losses of glass inside one of the 2 oval boxes - Wears to edges of the box with liftings - Scattered light scratches to the box -Important disjoins to corners of the box. Mirror same pattern but made in Holland. Apparently coffee pot handle missing. Attractive and impressive piece

Le cimier est  celui de la famille Weston, probablement pour un descendant du comte de Portland (titre éteint en 1688).
