chacune, la face avant ornée de deux dauphins encadrant un masque de dieu fluvial, la face arrière repoussée d'armes rappelant celles de la famille de Saxe mais inversées, avec leurs doublures en zinc

Condition
In overall good condition, the inner liners in poor condition.
Very nice pieces, good quality, good weight. Unusual pattern and size, after a ceramic pattern from Pont-aux-Choux dating from 18th century.

Ces jardinières sont insculpées de poinçons imitant ceux de Paris pour 1747 (charge, jurande, et décharge, poinçon d'orfèvre illisible, peut-être CP). Il s'agit probablement de pièces réalisées à Hanau, dans le sud de l'Allemagne.
