ronde, le couvercle à décor de paillons représentant une urne sur un piédestal flanqué d'un panier de fleurs et d'un chien aboyant envers deux colombes tenant une guirlande de fleurs, émaillé de bleu sur un fond guilloché en rayons de soleil, ceint d'une couronne de laurier, reprise sur à la base, la bâte à décor similaire, les bordures délicatement ciselées de fleurs et émaillées de blanc, bleu et vert sur un fond sablé, poinçon de maître en creux JF sous une couronne
circular, the lid decorated with paillons forming an urn on pedestal flanked by a basket of flowers and a dog barking at two doves holding a garland of flowers, on translucent blue over sunray engine-turning, within a laurel wreath echoed at the base, the sides similarly decorated, the borders chased with delicate flowers and leaves picked out in white, blue and green enamels on a matted ground, maker's mark apparently JF incuse below a crown
