Condition

Overall the alabaster is in very good condition with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some wear to the gilding at the high points; the gilding may have been refreshed. There is veining to the alabaster consistent with the material, including a more prominent open vein running through the top panel on the right hand side. The wood frame is composed in sections and joints are visible. The far columns detach. There is some wear to the wood at the edges and corners.
