Condition

The glue relining is firm and stable. the paint surface is generally well retained. there is craquelure throughout, most noticeable in the flesh tones, but does not distract from the overall image. examination under UV light shows a small area of retouching in hair just above forehead; a small dot of retouching on left eyebrow and one to left of nose; some retouching near bottom edge. painting is presentable and can be hung as is. In an elaborately carved an gilt wood frame.
