depicting a Bacchinalian scene, probably the central section of a tall, footed cup.

Condition

Restored vertical crack from edge of rim to bottom with in-painting along the site of the restoration on the interior and exterior. Another hairline crack at rim. Approximately half inch section of drapery on one figure replaced. Some small restorations (fill and overpaint) to thinner areas of carving, mainly on background. Other minor chips, losses. Three small holes drilled on bottom, probably for attachment, two later plugged.
