Condition
Canvas has an old relining. Overall in a good state of preservation with strong coloration and detailing in facial features. An old repaired puncture measuring approximately 4 inches across is located in the lower center. This can be seen under UV. Also visible under UV are scattered retouches in parts of the craquelure in face and coat. These are mostly confined to within craquelure, and are not applied to repair any major damages or losses. Picture presents a strong image to the naked eye and is in a carved gilt wood frame.
