Description

  • Moses saved from the waters

Condition

The copper plate is flat. The paint surface is fairly well preserved. There are however some losses and discoloration to some isolated areas, such as the darker areas of the red and blue dresses. The sky and immediate foreground have perhaps suffered a little wear. Inspection under UV reveals confirmed some of the restored losses and reveals some small retouchings to the afore-mentioned areas. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame.
