The canvas has an old relining and the paint surface appears to be in good condition with some minor wear in the centre of the piazza. There are some areas of restoration in the four corners and along the left and right margins, as well as tiny areas of well- executed restoration in the building to the right, each measuring approximately 1.5 cm squared. There is an area of restoration in the centre right of the foreground measuring approxaimtely 7cm diagonally. Otherwise restoration is limited to minor scattered retouchings, and the varnish is clear and even.
