Window mounted. Edges of the recto not visible due to mounting. Light brown staining in the lower right corner. A slight water stain towards the upper margin. Otherwise in good condition, chalk remains fresh and strong.

Clémentine Gustin-Gomez (loc. cit.) suggests that the present study may have been related to a projected decorative scheme incorporating oval paintings on the theme of the Gods of Olympus.
