Condition

Overall condition good. A little slight flaking in the gouache in the clouds, but medium otherwise well preserved. Seen from reverse, sheet gives impression of having been laid down, and lifted again; there is a little old glue, and remains of backing paper, in various places on verso. Sheet otherwise in good condition. Sold in a modern gilt frame.
