The illustration is quite accurate.
Attractive commode in good condition.
Fine decoration on the front; the sides with dragons.
Two small chips on the right side (visible on the image) and one on the left side.
Good quality of the mounts. Good design and fine chasing.
The gilding has a good color with expected and little wear.
Structure is solid.
Good overall condition.

François Rübestück, reçu maître en 1766
François Rübestück créa un petit groupe de commodes sauteuses en laque de Chine à fond noir qui présentent toutes le même encadrement de bronze doré sur la façade.
