Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition despite the usual minor scratches and marks due to age and use. As visible on the illustration, there are some traces of old minor shrinkage cracks to the fall front door. These are visible to the transparent varnish which could be changed easily. There are some minor small scratches on the lateral left hand side. The gilding of the mounts has been cleaned and is now a little tarnished. The leather top has been changed at the reverse of the fall front door. Exquisite details. Very nice piece in good condition.
