Chancery folio (294 x 214mm.), 274 leaves, double column, 43 lines plus headline, gothic type, 3- to 8-line initials in red and/or blue, first initial with red and blue marginal extensions, rubricated, contemporary blind-stamped calf over wooden boards, made in the bindery of the Augustinian monastery of St Zeno in Reichenhall (Upper Bavaria, active c. 1475-1528, EDBD w002516), paper labels on upper cover with title and shelfmark, lower cover with cuir-ciselĂ© armorial at head, paler patches on covers from metal centre- and cornerpieces with scalloped edges, offsetting from music manuscript pastedowns on inside front and rear covers, vellum manuscript strips used for spine lining, a few small wormholes at end, rebacked, lacking all metalwork and both clasps, upper corner of lower board slightly cracked, binding slightly rubbed
