FIRST EDITION of this celebrated work by the chef to King Stanislaus Leczinski, an historical dictionary of the consumption of sugar, containing many recipes for jams, biscuits, sweets, nougats and sweetmeats. The engraved plates are of particular interest for the tableware, including plates, glasses, silverware and coffee-pots.
