Condition
Sound board.
There are nail heads visible to the extreme edge. There is a small spot of loss and possible in-filling to the extreme upper right hand corner.
There is minor surface dirt, with some studio detritus and slight abrasions and scuffs to the some of the raised elements of thicker impasto, including most noticeably an area to the centre of the lower edge. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals an few spots of fluorescence to the aforementioned nail heads surrounding the extreme edge, with a few further traces to the composition, which appear in keeping with the nature of the Artist's materials and techniques, and do not suggest retouching.
Housed in a thin wooden strip frame.
