Condition

The sheet appears fully laid down to a backing card, but is sealed with tape concealing the extreme edges. There is staining to the sheet, most noticeable when viewing outside of the mount. There are one or two tiny spots of very early foxing apparent upon extremely close inspection, with one or two tiny traces of surface matter or studio detritus, including just to the right of the sitter's elbow. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition, with strong, fresh pencil throughout. Housed behind glass in a thin gilt wooden frame.
