Condition

Sound board. There is very slight scuffing to the extreme edges, and very slight rounding to the bottom corners, not visible in the present frame. There is a very find horizontal line running along the top edge, perhaps in line with a previous framing. There are minor frame abrasions to the extreme edge, most of which are not visible in the present frame, with one or two spots of surface matter and studio detritus. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals a single spot of fluorescence and possible retouching to the centre of the far right hand edge. Housed behind glass in a thick gilt and painted frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present lot.
