Description
- Emeralds, diamonds, gold
Designed as two lines of circular-cut diamonds, surmounted with scroll and fleur de lys motifs set with cushion-shaped, circular- and single-cut diamonds, the scrolls topped with drop shaped emeralds, fitted tiara case.
Condition
Drop-shaped emeralds well matched in colour, green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, some cavities visible under close inspection. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 12.00 - 14.00 carats, on average H - I colour, SI clarity (a few VS and a few I), as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal. Jewel slightly loose on tiara frame causing a few of the diamond scroll and emerald drop spokes to lean forward. The tiara may be detached from the tiara frame and worn as a necklace, however, the screws are missing which would attached the necklace together. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 75 grams. Fitted case stamped inside with a coronet.
