Natural pearl and diamond choker, one pearl cultured

Composed of five rows of natural pearls measuring from approximately 2.90 to 4.30mm, one pearl cultured, decorated with interlaced diamond motifs set with circular-, single-cut and rose diamonds, length approximately 350mm, French assay and maker's marks for Henri Picq.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 79688, stating that three hundred and seventy pearls measuring from approximately 2.90 to 4.30mm, were found to be natural, saltwater, and one pearl was found to be cultured. French maker's mark for Henri Picq. French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Natural pearls of white to light cream body colour, partly with rosé and green overtones, with good skin and lustre; for further details on the pearls, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.50 - 5.50 carats, on average G - I colour, VS - SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 48 grams.

Working largely, though not exclusively, for Cartier, they pioneered the use of novel materials and executed some of Cartier’s most avant-garde designs.
