Pair of impressive emerald and diamond ear clips

Each bow shaped surmount set with triangular diamonds and a cabochon emerald, suspending a drop-shaped emerald measuring approximately 14.95 x 15.35 x 27.00 and 13.75 x 15.15 x 26.50mm, capped with brilliant-cut diamonds.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72243, stating that the drop-shaped emeralds are of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures. Stamped 585 for 14 carat yellow gold. According to the SSEF report, the drop-shaped emeralds weigh approximately 38 carats and 34 carats respectively and measure approximately 14.95 x 15.35 x 27.00 mm and 13.75 x 15.15 x 26.50 mm respectively, they are green of medium strong saturation, for further information please refer to the report; good transparency, typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, one cavity to base of one drop, few nicks and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.25 - 7.50 carats, bright and lively, as gauged in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with light use. Screw back fittings secure. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 29 grams.
