Of bombé form, centering a cabochon ruby measuring approximately 17.5 by 14.2 by 8.3 mm, the mounting set with round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 8.40 carats, accented by baguette, trapeze and bullet-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.25 carats, size 7¾, signed Cartier, numbered 35010 and 30451, with workshop mark.
Condition
In good condition. Cabochon ruby is semi translucent with a number of surface reaching inclusions, two small chips to the surface are visible along with one very small pin hole and displays a medium purplish red hue. Diamonds are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity. Ring mount is in good condition with some wear visible to the setting in the form of very minor abrasions to the back of the ring shank.
