Centering an octagonal-cut sapphire weighing 6.04 carats, flanked by two square baguette diamonds weighing approximately .40 carat, size 5½, signed Graff, inscribed 6.04, with maker's mark. With signed box.
Condition
In good condition, with minute scratching to the shank. Light abrasions and minor chipping to a couple of the facet junctions. The sapphire is a medium deep slightly violetish blue color and is moderately included. Diamonds are approximately E-F color and VVS clarity. Measures as 5 1/2 on the mandrel, but will fit up to a size 6 finger. Accompanied by a Graff insurance appraisal dated March 1, 2003; a copy is available upon request. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 0009035 stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
