Suspending a drop-shaped emerald measuring approximately 14.4 by 9.8 by 16.8 mm, framed and topped by old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .80 carat, completed by a 14 karat white gold chain of later addition, chain length 17 inches, signed Birks; circa 1920. With signed box.

Condition

In good condition. The diamonds are approximately I-J color, VS-SI clarity. The emerald drop is semi-transparent, medium bluish green and heavily included with a moderate amount of surface-reaching fractures. The 14-karat white gold chain later added. Fitted with safety closure. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 59086 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: minor, type: traditional.
