The textured gold links accented by five cabochon rubies weighing approximately 39.00 carats, four cabochon sapphires weighing approximately 31.00 carats and five cabochon emeralds weighing approximately 27.00 carats, further set with round diamonds weighing approximately 10.50 carats, gross weight approximately 208 dwts, length 15¾ inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered S16339 N.Y. with one segment measuring 8 inches signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered S16340 N.Y. and one segment measuring 5½ inches signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered S16341; the various segments detach for variety of wear, total length is 29¼ inches.

In good condition. The rubies are a deep purplish red, heavily included with several bearing significant surface-reaching fractures and cavities that do not affect the integrity of the stones. The sapphires are a medium to medium-deep slightly violetish blue, heavily included and bearing significant surface-reaching fractures and cavities. The emeralds are a medium green, and heavily included with some minor surface-reaching inclusions. The colored stones, though all heavily included, are translucent. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. All segments fitted with safety closures. When all segments combined, the total length of the necklace is approximately 29 1/4 inches.
