The "his and hers" skulls composed of carved white coral, their hats and accessories set with numerous round rubies, sapphires, green garnets and pink sapphires, suspended from round diamonds weighing .85 carat, signed MDV. With signed box.
Condition
In good condition. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VS clarity. The green garnets are medium light to medium green and are eye clean. The rubies are range from medium to deep red to medium to deep slightly purplish red and their clarity ranges from eye-clean to lightly included. The sapphires are medium light to medium slightly violetish blue and range eye-clean to lightly included. The pink sapphires are a richly saturated bright pink and eye clean. The white coral, with subtle pink mottling. Both skulls with polyp holes; one with a discolored fissure to the reverse, the other with significant cracking and losses, all of which appear to be intentional design elements.
