Of geometric design, set with four marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 4.85 carats, accented by numerous baguette, trapeze and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 13.65 carats, further decorated with 20 step-cut sapphires, length 7 inches; circa 1930.
Condition
In good condition, with moderate scratching to the mounting. Diamonds are approximately F-H color, VVS-VS clarity with some SI examples. The sapphires are medium-deep to deep blue and well matched for color. Some minor chipping not visible when worn, with several of the sapphires exhibiting abrasions to the facet junctions. Lightly to moderately included. Some of the stones have surface-reaching inclusions. Includes safety mechanism as a hinged bar that latches under the clasp, as well as a safety chain that is missing it's spring clasp.
