Description
- emerald, diamond, yellow gold, platinum
Centring on a step-cut emerald weighing 8.79 carats, to a stylised mount set with step- and circular-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 1.20 carats, mounted in platinum and 18 karat yellow gold. Ring size: 5½
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to AGL report, the emerald is natural, of Colombian origin, with no indication of clarity enhancement. Appendix letter states that this emerald "exhibits a high clarity, providing a superior degree of transparency....... This vivid and lush green color, as well as high clarity present in this beautiful gem is representative of top-quality material recovered from Chivor mining area." Please refer to the report and letter for details. In our opinion, the emerald is of bright, intense green colour, very clean to naked eyes and lively. Upon 10x loupe, there are minor feather and fingerprints, not noticeable to naked eyes. Diamonds are about F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Platinum ring mount, in very good condition.
