Description
- sapphire, diamond, 14 carat gold
Set with a cabochon sapphire between foliate motifs accented with brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, Dutch assay mark.
Condition
Dutch assay mark for 14 carat gold. Sapphire measures approximately 18.25 x 22.75 x 12.80 mm, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, abrasion and eye-visible chip to girdle edge. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.90 carats, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Normal signs of wear to the mount, scratches consistent with us. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 20 grams.
