Natural pearl, emerald and diamond necklace

Composed of a graduated row of natural pearls measuring from approximately 6.00 to 9.75mm, the clasp set with a pear-shaped emerald and a similarly cut diamond, length approximately 420mm, French assay and maker's marks.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 76242, stating that the fifty-one pearls measuring from approximately 6.00 - 7.00 - 9.75 - 7.00 - 6.10 mm, were found to be natural, saltwater. Maker's mark. Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold, mounted in white gold. Pearls of white to light cream body colour, partly with rosé and green overtones, good lustre, minor pitting, and a few growth marks. Emerald measuring approximately 9.75 x 7.30 x 5.00 mm and calculated to weigh approximately 1.75 carats, with typical inclusions, some nicks and abrasions. Diamond measuring approximately 9.30 x 6.70 x 3.75 mm and calculated to weigh approximately 1.40 carats, I-J colour, VS2 clarity; both stones gauged and graded in the mounting. Clasp secure, safety chain. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 30 grams.
