Pair of sapphire and diamond ear clips

Each set with an oval sapphire weighing 22.45 and 26.01 carats, within a border of brilliant-cut diamonds, Italian maker's mark, hinged back fittings.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 77139, stating that the sapphires weighing 22.45 and 26.01 carats, measuring approximately 17.71 x 13.67 x 10.10 mm and 18.06 x 14.010 x 11.77 mm, are of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Each with Italian maker's marks and each stamped PT for platinum. Sapphires of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, a few minor abrasions to girdle and facet edges visible under magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 10.00-12.00 carats, H-J colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the mounting commensurate with age. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 37 grams.
