Designed as a parrot on a branch set with brilliant-cut diamonds, polished mother-of-pearl, calibré-, circular-cut and carved emeralds and rubies, suspending a drop-shaped emerald weighing 11.55 carats, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, case signed Cartier

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 82022, stating that the drop-shaped emerald is of Zambian origin, with a minor amount of oil in fissures, together with a Cartier certificate of authenticity. Signed Cartier, numbered 70499B. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. French assay and maker's marks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 14.00 - 17.00 carats, bright and lively. Rubies and emeralds well matched in colour, of medium strong saturation, very few crystal inclusions; for more information on the emerald drop please refer to the gemmological report. Mother-of pearl in excellent condition. Sliding safety catch. Very few signs of wear to the metal. In excellent condition. Gross weight approximately 69 grams.
